42 is the first completely free computer training course, open to all and accessible to 18-30 year olds. Its teaching approach is based on peer-to-peer learning: a participatory process that allows students to express their full creativity through project-based learning. 42 was founded by Florian Bucher, Xavier Niel, Nicolas Sadirac and Kwame Yamgnane in 2013 when the digital industry was experiencing a drastic shortage of IT developers in France.
